We're here!

Our move is complete!  It went about as well as any move can go.  I cannot tell you how much stress has been lifted now that the remodel is finished and all of our belongings are here (though not yet unpacked).

Here are some crappy phone photos for you (what was the point of buying a fancy camera, again?), which you are only allowed to look at if you promise to keep in mind that these were taken three days after the move.  I'm actually quite proud of what we got accomplished in those three days (mostly unpacking the kitchen and moving all of the unopened boxes into spare rooms).

The living room in its current arrangement, after trying several arrangements that failed.  Those red shelves will either go or get repainted; it's feeling a bit like a kindergarten classroom right now.  Let me say quietly and passively, just one time, that it would have been much easier to furnish if we'd kept part of the original wall.

LOOK AT OUR HUGE PANTRY!  This used to be where the laundry hookups lived.  While unpacking the kitchen, we kept forgetting that we had a pantry and were trying to shove things in cabinets.  Oh wait!  PANTRY!

*We didn't do the garage conversion, the previous owners did.  They did the mudroom addition as well, but for unknown reasons didn't move the laundry hookups at the same time.  Why would you spend the money to build onto the house but leave the laundry in the dining room?  Anyway.  It's better now.
